Taftan is a lifestyle store established by the Artist Rachel Whelan which has be going strong since September 2002.
We offer many products, to add style and exotic glamour to your home, with products which also suit the practicalities of modern day living.
We stock a unique range of luxurious and eclectic furniture, gifts and paintings from all over the world.
The range is a mix of Rachel's own product designs from gifts through to wood and leather furniture, along side a few established brands.

We also have a variety of design-led furniture, coffee tables and desks in wood and leather.
Occasional chairs and sofas, which are made on hard wood frames and upholstered in Italy in the finest leather. All Taftan's furniture is handmade and displays the highest craftsmanship.

Rachel studied at Chelsea College of Art and Design in the 1990's, where she was awarded a 1st Class Honours Degree and her M.A.in Fine Art.
Her paintings will also be available to buy online in the New Year.
